How to access the notification/communication I received?

Note on mobile device access: Notifications that require a password can be accessed, but not those that use a digital certificate. These will need to be opened with a PC.

The steps to access the electronic notification/communication are as follows:

Step 1.- Access the web address that arrives with the email notification:

Step 3.- On the next screen you will need to choose the access method: one-time password (red box) or with digital certificate (blue box):

If you do not have a digital certificate (such as DNIe, idCAT, etc.), you can access using a password by entering your NIF/NIE and the mobile phone or email you indicated in the procedure to receive the notices of the electronic notifications.

Step 4.- When you click on "Send me a code" the following screen appears waiting to receive the password by email or by mobile phone (depending on what you chose in the previous step):

Step 5.- By e-mail or by SMS (depending on what you have chosen on the previous screen) you will receive the personal, single-use password that, once entered, will take you to electronic communication. This password has a validity period of about 30 minutes.

Via email, you will receive a message like this:

Step 6.- Enter the password you received (it will only be valid for 30 minutes)

Step 7.- Once the password has been entered, you will arrive at the last screen where your electronic communication is located. It is advisable to save the document on your computer.

One-time password to access the notification

One-time passwords have the following characteristics:

  1. They can only be used to access the system that is requesting it.
  2. They have a limited temporal validity (generally 30 minutes).
  3. They can only be used in one transaction.
  4. They are for personal use and non-transferable.

How can I identify myself to access the notification?

You can access the electronic notification received through the following means:

  • With one-time password
  • With idCAT Mobile
  • With digital certificate

2. Access with idCAT Mobile

3. With digital certificate

Regarding the digital certificate , this can be issued by the AOC Consortium, or through a provider of Certification Services including a list of entities classified by the AOC Consortium that can be consulted in Certificates accepted by the AOC Consortium validator .

Once the user is identified, the content of the electronic notification can be accessed. From this screen, the citizen or company will be able to download the content of the notification (Administrative Act) and also the electronic proof of validity , which is the electronic document that certifies that the administration has served the notification and that it will be useful to the citizen as evidence in case he needs to prove it before a court.

Notification intended for a company

To access a notification addressed to a company, you can identify yourself as a company or as a related person (if any):

CASE 1. Notification intended for a company.

Access can be done in one way or another, depending on the level of access defined in the notification by the issuing entity (you will be informed in the notification email):

  • Notification with low access level: You can access with one-time password. In this case, you only need to inform yourself on the access screen, the NIF of the company, and the mobile phone/e-mail that you informed where to receive the notices to receive notifications.

  • Substantial or high access level : You will need access with a representative certificate. Related person certificates do not work, as they are listed as personal certificates.

CASE 2. Notification sent to a company and a related person of that company

If you identify yourself as a company, you will need to access it as indicated in the previous section.

If you identify yourself as a linked person, you will need to access it as indicated below:

  • Notification with low access level: You can access with one-time password. In this case, it is necessary to inform on the access screen the NIF of the company, the NIF of the linked person and the mobile phone/e-mail that you informed where to receive the notices to receive notifications.

  • Substantial level of access: you will need access with a certificate or mobile idCAT (if you obtained it in person)
  • High access level: You will need to access with a certificate

The notice of the notification indicates who is the recipient of the notification (partially anonymized) and the level of access to it; in any case, if you have doubts about who is the recipient of the notification, you can contact the issuing body.

What access mechanisms are valid for accessing notifications?

To access the notification mailbox and according to the defined access level when creating the notification, you can do it with different digital identifiers such as the idCAT Mobile, Cl@ve, idCAT certificate or with other current digital certificates issued by any qualified certificate provider of the following types according to the rating of @firma:

  • Natural Person Certificates (type 0)
  • Public Worker Certificates (type 5)
  • Certificates of natural persons representing legal persons before the Public Administrations (type 11)
  • Certificates of natural persons representing entities without legal personality before the Public Administrations (type 12)

Additionally, low-level notifications can also be accessed with a one-time code, which will be received on the phone or email defined when creating the notification.

Where can I access my electronic notifications?

A specific notification can be accessed from:

  • The link to access the notification , indicated in the notification email of this notification (see image).
  • From the space of electronic notifications submitted by a body for a certain user (see image).
  • Or, through the electronic headquarters of the body that sent the notification.

If in the case of access with a digital certificate, the window to select the certificate does not appear, you can download the application that you will find in the following link (you will have to select a native application).

What does "You have unopened tickets to other bodies. Check them out" mean?

If, when accessing a e-NOTUM portal of a body, you see the message "You have unopened tickets for other bodies. Consult them", it means that you have notifications and/or communications in another body.

Just click on it and it will bring up the list of other entities where you have notifications/communications. If you click on one of them, it will redirect you to the entity in question.
