Electronic notifications are official communications from the Administration with all legal guarantees.
After carrying out a management or procedure, if you have accepted to be sent related electronic notifications, the Administration may send you one and notify you at the address or telephone number indicated in the procedure or management.
The notification or communication email will indicate which access mechanism you can use to access it.
The notification access mechanism may vary depending on the level of security that the administration has deemed necessary to apply to the specific notification (for example, to contain confidential information, for data protection, etc.).
These are the possible access mechanisms depending on the access level of the notification:

Below you will find detailed instructions for accessing the notifications received, depending on the access method and type of user you are:
The single-use code is an identification system specific to the electronic notification service and has these characteristics:
- Only allowed in low-level notifications.
- It can only be used to access a specific notification , by accessing the identification link from the email and/or SMS notification.
- The code is valid for 30 minutes.
- If a notification allows access with a one-time code, it also allows access with any other access mechanism (such as idCAT Mòbil).
You can access low-level notifications, with a one-time code, by following these steps:
1. Click the link you will find in the email or SMS
2. You will access the email notification mailbox, where you must press the "Access with one-time code" button.
3. A banner will appear on the right side where you must enter the DNI, NIE or passport (in the case of a passport, you must select the corresponding type of document) linked to the notification and you will receive the code to the email address or phone number from where you clicked on the notification.
The address or telephone number linked to a sent notification cannot be changed. If you need to modify the data for future notifications, contact the administration that notified you.
The administration sends the notification to the identity document and contact details (email or telephone) indicated by you in the related procedure. Therefore, the notification service will check at this time that the identifier entered is the one linked to the notification and will send the one-time code to the specific address or telephone number (depending on whether you accessed the link from the email or from the SMS).
4. You will receive a code by email or SMS, enter it on the screen and press the “Verify” button.
5. You will access a preview of the notification, with its main data in the right sidebar, as well as the consequences of opening it. Press "Open notification" to access the content.
idCAT Mobile is an identification system that, in addition to accessing electronic notifications, will allow you to carry out most of the procedures and procedures with the Catalan administrations. Just by indicating your identity document (DNI, NIE...) and your mobile phone.
You will only be able to access LOW level notifications. Here are the steps:
1. Click the link you will find in the email or SMS
2. You will access the electronic notification mailbox, where you must press the "Access with digital identity" button.
3. The Identity Integrator screen "VÀLid" will appear. In the left section you must enter the identification document and telephone number that you have registered with idCAT Mòbil and press "I have idCAT Mòbil, continue".
4. You will receive the access code on the mobile phone linked to your idCAT Mòbil.
You must enter it on the next screen and press the “Send” button.
5. You will access a preview of the notification, with its main data in the right side margin, as well as the consequences of opening it. Press “Open notification” to access the content
